Quebec Investor Program

Overview

The Quebec Investor Program (QIIP) is a pathway to Canadian permanent residency for experienced business people or senior managers who are willing to make a passive investment in Quebec’s economy. It’s one of the only programs in Canada that grants PR without requiring the applicant to manage a business.

Note: As of recent updates, QIIP is expected to reopen with revised criteria. We monitor updates and prepare clients in advance for when intake resumes.

Who Is Eligible?

You may qualify if you:

Have at least 2 years of management or business ownership experience in the last 5 years
Possess a legally acquired net worth of at least CAD $2,000,000
Are willing to make a five-year investment of CAD $1,200,000 (financing options available) through a Quebec government-approved financial intermediary
Intend to settle in Quebec and integrate into the local society

Meet French language proficiency (mandatory under updated program rules)
